“Crispin had a different plan. “I guess I saw George as a wanderer, a free spirit who moved in random patterns,” Fox explains of a scene in which there was no way he could do what was required of him at the directorial level. “His talent was unquestionable, although his methods sometimes generated friction“, acknowledges the actor, not without ensuring that they have always maintained a cordial relationship beyond the filming sets.

“Even so, I respected his loyalty to George “as he understood and embodied it,” Fox continues, defending Glover’s inhospitable attitude. Even so, Fox recognizes that personal dealings with him were complicated, even more so after arriving as a substitute for Eric Stoltz after being fired as the first Marty McFly: “I knew Crispin Glover before ‘Back to the Future’.
