Every October 21, film fans celebrate the Back to the Future Day (Back to the Future Day), a date that was born in tribute to one of the most iconic moments of the trilogy created by Robert Zemeckis and Bob Gale in 1985.
The choice of the day is not coincidental: in the film Back to the Future II, released in 1989, the protagonist Marty McFly, played by Michael J. Foxtravels precisely as of October 21, 2015, accompanied by Dr. Emmett Brown (Christopher Lloyd) and Jennifer Parker (Elisabeth Shue).

The story picks up right where the first film left off. Marty and Jennifer meet again after the young man’s affair in 1955when suddenly “Doc” Brown appears in the famous DeLorean that he turned into a time machine.

The scientist convinces the couple to accompany him to the future to prevent their children from suffering a tragic fate. Since then, that date became a symbol for fans of the saga.which commemorate it every year around the world with marathons, thematic events and tributes.
Back to the Future II presents one of the most remembered scenes of the film trilogy for its visionary portrait of the future. Although the saga only won one Oscar Award —for Best Sound Editing, for the first film—, are influence on popular culture remains intactmarking entire generations of viewers.

The third installment, released in 1990, moves the action to Hill Valley in 1885, one hundred years before the original film, and It is a kind of western that pays tribute to the great films of that genrepeppering everything with science fiction and comedy.
