A used SUV has been attracting attention in the Brazilian market. Costing between R$ 129 thousand and R$ 141 thousand, the Chevrolet Equinox RS 2022 appears as one of the best cost-benefit options, according to a survey by Mundo do Automóvel para PCD.
When compared to the new Volkswagen Tera High 2026, which starts at R$ 141,890, the Equinox RS is cheaper. Furthermore, Chevrolet's midsize SUV is not only cheaper, but also offers more power, interior space and equipment.

Under the hood, the 2022 Equinox RS is equipped with a 1.5 turbo gasoline engine, which delivers 172 horsepower and 27.8 kgfm of torque. The gearbox is a six-speed automatic, with front-wheel drive.
In terms of dimensions, the Equinox stands out for being a true medium SUV. It measures 4.65 meters long, 1.84 meters wide, 1.69 meters high and has a wheelbase of 2.72 meters. This ensures great internal space for the whole family. Finally, the trunk offers 468 liters of capacity.
In terms of equipment, the Chevrolet Equinox RS 2022 is generous. Among the main items, there is dual-zone digital air conditioning, progressive electric steering and a complete safety suite, with six airbags, traction and stability controls, ABS brakes with EBD, forward collision alert with automatic braking, blind spot alert, lane keeping assistant, conventional cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, as well as a rear camera.
Furthermore, the model also features a semi-automatic parking assistant, in-person key with push-button start, multimedia center with touch screen and Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, induction cell phone charger, premium sound system, electrically adjustable driver's seat, leather interior upholstery, multifunctional steering wheel adjustable in height and depth, full LED headlights with automatic lighting, 19-inch alloy wheels, electrically folding exterior mirrors and twilight sensor.
Launched in Brazil in 2022 for R$204,990, the Equinox RS saw its price plummet to around R$129,000, that is, almost 40% depreciation. This depreciation places it as one of the most interesting medium SUVs on the used market.
