During her appearance on “Good Morning America”, Taylor Swift announced a film and series about the final show of The Eras Tour

To the delight of fans, Taylor Swift revealed that the last show on The Eras Tour will become a film and a documentary series on Disney+. The singer made the revelation during her appearance on ABC's “Good Morning America” program this Monday morning (13).

When does the Taylor Swift series premiere?

The first two episodes of the documentary series “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era” arrives in the Disney+ catalog on December 12th. The production promises “an intimate look at Taylor’s life as her tour made headlines and thrilled fans around the world.” Two more episodes are expected to be released in the following two weeks.

On the same day, the film “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show” will also premiere, which will feature material added to the Eras Tour by the “Tortured Poets Department”. The previous film was released before the album's songs were added to the tour.

Why can't Taylor Swift compete for a Grammy?

Taylor Swift cannot compete for the 2026 Grammys because the deadline for submitting works ended on August 30, 2025. Since the singer has not released any project to date, she cannot be nominated.
