The Tron franchise, which began in 1982, sells itself as a mature and intelligent observation about the search for humanity in a world dominated by technology. However, Tron: Ares, by Joachim Ronning, shows another side. Intentionally or not, the film is more in the Afternoon Session style, with a simple and superficial story.

Two companies compete for the digital empire and seek to recover the Permanence Code created by Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), the original protagonist, which could lead to a new digital frontier. Eve Kim (Greta Lee), from Encom, manages to obtain it and comes into the sights of Julian Dillinger (Evan Peters), from the company that bears the family's surname. Its objective is to enhance Ares (Jared Leto), a kind of intelligent robot made to be a soldier, who has a lifespan of just 29 minutes.

An electrifying and visually mesmerizing race takes over the screen and continues to be, together with the original soundtrack, the franchise's greatest attraction.
