Katniss Everdeen returned home safely after winning the 74th edition of the Hunger Games with her partner Peeta Mellark. Since they have won, they are forced to once again leave their family and friends behind to go on a victory tour to all the districts. Throughout her journey, Katniss senses that revolt is brewing, but the Capitol still exercises absolute control over the districts. As President Snow prepares for the 75th edition of the Hunger Games, the Games of Atonement, and announces that this year's tributes will be selected from the surviving victors.
