Singer Taylor Swift announced this Monday (13) two new productions that celebrate her successful tour “The Eras Tour”: a full film of the final show and a documentary series in six episodes. Both productions arrive on Disney+ on December 12th.

The film, titled The Eras Tour: The Final Show, records the last performance of the tour, including songs from the album The Tortured Poets Department. The documentary series The End Of an Era dives behind the scenes of the tour, revealing stories and memorable moments experienced throughout the 149 shows held on five continents between 2023 and 2024.

In a post on social media, Swift wrote: "It was the end of an era and we knew it. We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed the filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories that accompanied it as it ended. And film the final show in its entirety."

During an interview with British radio station Magic Radio, the artist revealed the physical impact of the tour, with performances lasting more than three hours: “I was so physically exhausted from the shows, but being mentally stimulated by making new music made me excited to return to the stage.”

In addition to the new productions, Swift recently released the album The Life of a Showgirl, which she describes as a manifesto about her experience on tour.
