In the middle of your album The Life of a Showgirl, Taylor Swift will release a new documentary and film about the The Eras Toura tour that brought together his albums and marked his visit to Brazil in 2023, titled The End of an Era.
The content will be a six-episode documentary series. The news also comes alongside the film which will showcase the tour's full show and additional set of Tortured Poets Department, com backstage scenes, whose name is The Final Show. Both will be released on Disney+ on December 12th.
The announcement came via an Instagram post in which the singer announced “the end of an Era”: “We wanted to remember every moment that led us to the most important and intense moment of our lives, so we allowed cameras to record the tour and all the stories woven as it unfolded.”
On September 3, the singer released her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl. In less than 11 hours, the content became the most listened to album in a single day on Spotify em 2025.
The day before, Thursday the 2nd, The Life of a Showgirl it was already the most pre-saved countdown page in the app's history, with more than 6 million views pre-saves before launch.
