DC Studios is preparing a series starring Skyler Gisondo, who will return to life as Jimmy Olsen, better known as Superman's best friend, seen for the first time in this version in the superhero's most recent film, which hit theaters in July.

Dan Perrault and Tony Yacenda, creators of American Vandal, are preparing this expansion of the new version of Superman, in a series in which you will follow Olsen and the rest of the Daily Planet staff as they investigate stories around supervillains.

Although the series focuses on the Daily Planet and its investigations, The Hollywood Reporter says that Clark Kent and Lois Lane will not be present. The series will star Olsen and the rest of the crew, so if the most famous duo appears, it will only be for a brief moment.

The Jimmy Olsen series will focus on Gorilla Grodd, a villain associated with The Flash, who will be at the center of a new Daily Planet investigation led by Olsen, but for now we still don't have details about the start of production and the debut of the live action series.
