Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s iconic romantic film 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' (DDLJ) has completed 30 years, continuing to resonate with fans worldwide. As the film celebrates this milestone, SRK reflected on the lasting love for his character Raj and the impact the film has had on audiences over the decades.

Speaking to VarietyShah Rukh Khan said, “It doesn't feel like it's been 30 years since 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' released. I'm truly grateful for all the love that I have received from people from across the world for playing Raj. Nobody could have foreseen the kind of place the film made in the hearts of people around the world.”

The actor also highlighted how DDLJ has influenced real-life audiences, with couples often sharing that they fell in love or got married after watching the film. “I also feel that it has had such a happy effect on the pop culture of India and South Asian,” he added. Khan credited the film’s success to the “pure heart” of the entire team and the clarity and vision of director Aditya Chopra, along with the blessings of Yash Chopra.
