The film brings a combination of live-action and animation which, for Kristen, was a unique experience. "It was fun to already know who the character was when I entered the recording booth (for dubbing)because I had already played her in the live-action version. The experience is different, as everything depends solely on the voice. You need to convey all emotions and intentions through the way you speak. So, in some ways, it's more difficult — but, at the same time, it's also easier," he says.
