I did the Ford F-150 fuel consumption test on the road. I spent ten days with the pickup, and traveled 1,300 km mainly on dual carriageways, but also on sections of single lane. Below, you will see the result.
The 2025 Ford F-150 is on sale in Brazil in two versions, both with the same price: R$560,000. The Lariat stands out for its chrome details, while the Lariat Black's are black. The equipment list is the same.
I obtained the best consumption when driving around 250 km on the Anhanguera and Bandeirantes highways, between the interior of SΓ£o Paulo and the capital of SΓ£o Paulo, using the economical driving mode. At the end of the journey, I got 8.7 km/l.
This is a better number than that published by Inmetro, of 8.5 km/l. Furthermore, it significantly exceeds the Ram 1500's consumption of 7 km/l on the highway cycle. This model has a six-cylinder turbo engine that, despite being more powerful, should theoretically be more efficient (it is the result of technology called downsizing).
