The sequence 'M3GAN 2.0' failed in theaters, grossing only US$39 million at the global box office.

For comparison purposes, the result represents only 21% of the first film's total revenuewhich ended its run in global cinemas with solid US$180 million.

Still, in an interview with Variety, Jason Blum promised that this failure will not be the end of the killer doll.

"M3GAN will return. I will find a way," declared the producer.

Previously, the actress Jenna Davis had revealed his expectations for a third film in the saga: “I think I would love to bring back some of the horror that we had in the first movie, because there was something really fun about that, and how dark and scary M3GAN was in that movie.
