This year, the event showcases 15 titles — two more than last year — among those pre-selected by their countries for the international Oscar category. Among them is the Spanish "Sirât", by Oliver Laxe, a title also chosen for the opening of the Exhibition.

And if it's good luck, "O Agente Secreto", by Kleber Mendonça Filho, will be shown in this edition shortly before entering the circuit, just as happened with "I'm Still Here" in 2024.

Other big names also appear here, such as Iranian Jafar Panahi (who represents France with his "It Was Just an Accident") and South Korean Park Chan-wook ("No Other Choice").
