The CCBB SP (Banco do Brasil Cultural Center) receives from October 8 to November 2 a movie show about Charlie Chaplin. At the event, 83 films of the British filmmaker will be screened between short, medium and feature films.

The program includes debates, accessibility sessions and activities aimed at children.

The classic "The Great Dictator" will be displayed, which accompanies a Jewish barber upon returning home and finding that a fascist dictator came to power and imposed anti -Semitic policies.

Another option is "The Boy", who tells the story of a boy abandoned by his mother and raised by a homeless man.

Will also be displayed "Modern times"in which the vagabond character is oppressed by machines in a factory and needs to face the challenges of modern life.

The curator is by José de Aguiar, produced by Firula Filmes. The show has already passed through Brasilia and Rio de Janeiro, and will go to Belo Horizonte after São Paulo.

The event also marks the launch of a catalog with unpublished articles in Brazil about Chaplin's work.
