A lackluster Thursday at the box office with 403,230 euros totaled (62,073 spectators) on 2,549 screens, -34% compared to Thursday 17 October 2024 and -9% compared to seven days ago.

The many new releases of the week change the face of the top 10 even if none of these impressed on the first day in theaters. Obviously we'll see what happens next at the weekend.

The first position is contested by two very different films separated by a few euros. According to Cinetel data, horror prevailed - yet another of this year - The Black Phone 2 with 55,295 euros and an average of 209 euros in 264 cinemas.

Luca Guadagnino starts in second place with After the Hunt – After the hunt with 55,097 euros and an average of 153 euros in 360 cinemas. Queerthe director's previous film released on April 17, 2025, had debuted with 68,469 euros, with a first weekend of 372,542 euros for a total of 1,216,479 euros. According to the very first numbers, After the Hunt could fit into this groove.

He drops to third place Three bowls with 53,485 euros (only -16% compared to last week) and an average of 131 euros in 407 cinemas (414 seven days ago). The total is 936,546 euros since October 9th, with the million getting ever closer.

It also drops in the rankings One battle after another. Paul Thomas Anderson's film grosses 50,412 euros (-38%) with an average of 171 euros in 295 cinemas (366 seven days ago) and reaches a total gross of 4,007,114 euros since 25 September, becoming the director's biggest success in Italy.

Fifth position for Tron – Ares with 34,247 euros (-64%) and an average of 119 euros in 287 cinemas (372). The total for the new film in the sci-fi franchise is 861,474 euros from October 9th.

It's no longer a surprise anymore The cities of the plainsixth with 21,083 euros (-4%, takings in line with last week) and an average of 257 euros in 82 cinemas (98). Francesco Sossai's film has reached a total of 658,504 euros since September 25th, a perhaps unexpected performance on the eve of its release.

He debuts in seventh position Begin by Elisa Amoruso. The film starring Miriam Leone and Stefano Accorsi, which addresses the theme of motherhood, debuts with 13,677 euros and an average of 47 euros in 292 cinemas.

Eighth place for The voice of Hind Rajab with 8,065 euros (-41%) and an average of 115 euros in 70 cinemas (164), for an excellent total of 1,164,316 euros from 25 September.

Speaking of horror, ninth position for Together with 6,552 euros (-64%) and an average of 85 euros in 77 cinemas (183), for a total of 594,538 euros from 1 October.

Jumps into the top 10 Lobsters in Manhattan revived in cinemas thanks to an initiative that involved several Acec cinemas. Yesterday the takings were 5,871 euros with an average of 202 euros in 29 cinemas, for a total of 148,851 euros since 5 June.

He starts in thirteenth position Sharks by Daniel Barbiero, with 5,218 euros with an average of 25 euros in 209 cinemas.
