Toyota RAV4 displaces Ford F-150 hegemony in the USA

Since 1982, the Ford F-150 pickup truck has been the best-selling car in the United States, but that eventually had to come to an end. And it changed. The Toyota RAV4 SUV managed to displace the pickup truck from this long-term leadership and has now established itself as the leader of this ranking.

Although most of the rankings released by American companies indicate the opposite, that the F-150 was the champion once again, the survey made refers to car-by-car comparisons, considering only the specific model and variant.

The growth in sales of the Toyota RAV4 represented a 9% increase in its sales, compared to 2023. On the contrary, the F-15 lost 5% of its sales.
