Toy Story 5 shows itself with a trailer and confirms the release date

Disney and Pixar have released a new teaser trailer for Toy Story 5which will be in Italian cinemas on June 17, 2026 (and two days later in the American ones).

In this new movie Woody rejoins the toy groupalthough the fourth film ends with his farewell.

In the teaser that you can see below, it is presented the new character Lilypada frog-shaped tablet voiced by Greta Lee (“Past Lives,” “The Morning Show,” “TRON: Ares”). This is the new “antagonist”: old toys must be able to attract the attention of their owner, distracted by technology.

They are included in the cast Buzz, Woody e Jessiewithout forgetting old and recent names from the saga, such as the friendly Forky from Toy Story 4. Ms and Mr Potato, Rex, the aliens and Bullseye. The trailer doesn’t explain in any way how or why Woody returned to his old toy friends, but it makes it clear that Lilypad is a “scary” threat to our protagonists.
