the teaser trailer teases the possible ‘end of the toy era’

The Disney Pixar animated film will arrive in cinemas in June and, in the meantime, the first images have been shared.

Disney and Pixar shared the first teaser trailer of the film Toy Story 5arriving in theaters worldwide in June.
The short video shows the protagonists of the story facing the fearful arrival of a package that could put an end to the era of toys.

What the Toy Story 5 teaser teases

What scares the protagonists, including Woody and Buzz who are once again played by Tom Hanks and Tim Allen, is the delivery of the tablet Lilypadwhich in the original version will have the voice of Greta Lee.
Jessie (Joan Cusack), Forky (Tony Hale), Mr and Mrs Potato Head, Rex, Slinky Dog, Bullseye and the cute green aliens known to fans since the first chapter of the Toy Story story also appear in the short video.

The directors’ statements

In the statement with which Disney and Pixar announce the arrival of the first teaser trailer, the filmmakers declared: “It’s been a hilarious and touching journey, discovering how our favorite team of traditional toys might respond to the technological world today, and we’re excited to share this first video with the public“.

Stanton and Harris also teased that Lilypad will be a perfect antagonist for the protagonists but, at the same time, will have humor and heart.

A few days ago, some images of the merchandise that appeared online had revealed previews regarding the new look of the protagonists, including that of the beloved Sheriff Woody, and of the new characters that will debut in the fifth chapter of the story.
To find out further details, however, we will have to wait a few more months and the updates shared by Disney and Pixar.
