‘La Deuda’, a new film directed and starring Daniel Guzmán, with the participation of RTVE in its production, has just arrived in cinemas. And among the first reactions it is eliciting, there is great unanimity.

The story follows Lucas (Daniel Guzmán), a 47-year-old man, and Antonia (Rosario García), an elderly woman on the verge of eviction in her fight to keep her home and achieve forgiveness. They both live in a central apartment in the city and, despite their financial difficulties, they live with affection, enthusiasm and a sense of humor.

His life goes on daily until an investment fund acquires the building to convert it into tourist apartments. Lucas tries to get the money necessary to avoid losing the house even if it is not legal, but one wrong decision will change the rest of their lives.
