The Argentine film “27 Nights” based on a true story premieres on Netflix

Based on the novel “Twenty-seven Nights”, by the Argentine psychoanalyst and writer Natalia Zito, which is based on a real case, the film that tells the case of the artist Natalia Kohen, who was confined by her daughters against her will, arrives on Netflix on Friday, October 17, after having been in theaters and the San Sebastian Festival.

The film directed by Daniel Hendler, with Marilú Marini as the protagonist, opened the San Sebastian International Film Festival in September, and will show the character as “Martha Hoffman, an eccentric and wealthy 83-year-old patron, is admitted to a psychiatric clinic at the request of her daughters, who claim that she suffers from dementia. Judicial expert Casares investigates whether Martha is really sick or not. if he has simply chosen to live his last years with absolute freedom, while questioning whether the internment is an act of protection or an attempt to control his fortune.
