A superestrela do pop Taylor Swift announced on Monday (13) that it will launch a film show and a series documentary in six episodes about the last stage of his extremely successful Eras Tour no Disney+ on December 12, expanding its partnership with the streaming service.

Disney+, which streamed an earlier version of the Eras Tour film this year, is deepening its collaboration with Swift, leaning on exclusive live music and the pop star’s large, dedicated global fan base to attract new subscribers in a competitive market.

Disney+ will also release the first two episodes of a six-part docuseries titled “The End of an Era,” which offers a behind-the-scenes look at what Swift called “the most important and intense chapter” of her career.

The Eras Tour, which kicked off in March 2023 and spans Swift’s two-decade catalogue, became the highest-grossing tour in history after generating more than $2 billion in ticket sales.

The previous version of the film, “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour,” which opened in theaters last year, is the highest-grossing concert film of all time.

Swift has won 14 Grammys, including a record four Album of the Year awards, and her latest album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” became Spotify’s most-streamed album in a single day after its release in October.
