Many years ago, long after the Spice Girls had gone their separate ways, I was asked to write a “Where are they now?” type piece, relating to the fab five.

I’d missed out by virtue of age on the brouhaha of fandom and “Girl Power”, but their songs were catchy and their phenomenal success was impossible to ignore.
