Charting a route through new national production is one of the possible paths that the 49th Mostra offers.
And we’re not talking about the already international “The Secret Agent”, by Kleber Mendonça Filho. The offer at the event includes titles such as “The Son of a Thousand Men”, inspired by the work of Valter Hugo Mãe, produced by Netflix.
The eclecticism ranges from urban dramas, such as “Assalto à Brasileira”, by José Eduardo Belmonte, to the vampire horror of “Love Kills”, by Luiza Shelling Tubaldini. Renowned actresses also show their credentials in directing, such as Leandra Leal, in the personal documentary “Nada a Fazer”, and Gloria Pires, in the fiction film “Sexa”. Check out the selection.
