A Ram Dakota is among us. The pickup truck will be one of the attractions of the São Paulo Motor Show 2025which takes place starting next Saturday (22), but was revealed for the first time in Brazil this Tuesday (18). The Dakota will be manufactured in Argentina, where it is already on pre-sale and will debut later this month. In Brazil, the pickup should be launched in mid-2026 and will be sold in two versions, Laramie and Warlock. Inside the RAM line in Brazilthe Dakota will be positioned above the Rampage and just below the RAM 1,500.

With a design based on the Fiat Titano, the RAM Dakota is a little larger, 5.37 m long, 1.88 m wide and 1.82 m high, but the wheelbase is the same, 3.18 m. The free height from the ground is 3.17 m. The difference between the versions is basically aesthetic, with the Laramie featuring chrome exterior details and 18” wheels, while the Warlock has a more adventurous style, which includes santantonio, 17” wheels with mixed-use tires.

Engine is the same as the Titano

The pickup uses the same 2.2 turbodiesel engine that powers the Titano. There are 200 hp and 45.9 kgfm of maximum torque. The transmission is an 8-speed automatic. The Ram Dakota has 4×4 traction with reduced gear and rear differential lock, and offers four driving modes. The load capacity is 1,020 kg and the towing capacity is 3,500 kg.

In addition to the exterior design, the cabin is completely different from the Titano, with a greater dose of sophistication thanks to the use of higher quality materials, such as the genuine leather on the seats and the synthetic covering that covers the dashboard. The pickup has a 12.3″ multimedia center, 7″ digital instrument panel, 540-degree camera system and the complete ADAS package, with items such as adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, forward collision alert, blind spot sensor and rear cross traffic alert.

In this first official presentation, RAM did not disclose prices or a detailed list of equipment.
