“Primate” – First trailer for Paramount’s new thriller released

Paramount Pictures has the first official trailer „Primate“ released – a dark thriller that will be released on 22 January 2026 opens exclusively in cinemas.

The film with Johnny Sequoyah, Jessica Alexander and Troy Kotsur tells the disturbing story of a family who believe they have found an unusual pet – but the creature they take into their home is much more than just an animal.
What begins as an innocent fascination quickly turns into a nightmare in which the boundaries between humans and animals, trust and fear, become blurred.

The trailer already suggests that „Primate“ an intense mix Psychological thriller and family drama should be – atmospherically dense, emotionally charged and with a disturbing undertone that is reminiscent of classic creature horror films.
