new set photos show a Voldemort scene from the latest book!

New photos from the British set of the TV series Harry Potter HBO reveal a first look at a key scene from Voldemort taken from the books of JK Rowlingone scene in particular that comes directly from the final volume of the saga, The Deathly Hallows.

Filming of the Harry Potter TV series is now underway in Lustleigh, England, and with the new images available at the bottom of the article we can give a first look at the Godric’s Hollow version by HBO: It’s where young Harry lived with his parents, Lily and James, when Lord Voldemort arrived on a night that changed the Wizarding World forever.

Fans immediately noticed that Halloween costumes confirm this is the fateful evening Lord Voldemort murdered Harry’s parents and tried to kill the young wizard. But the particularly interesting thing is that this scene is told only in the last book of the saga, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: this means that HBO’s adaptation may have shuffled the cards on a narrative level, showing the sequence already in the first season.

Does this mean we’ll see Voldemort in Harry Potter season 1? Won’t we have to wait, as happens in the films, for the events of The Goblet of Fire? Impossible to say at the moment, but technically Voldemort will have to appear on the back of Professor Quirrell’s neck…perhaps revealing at that moment the mysterious actor chosen for the part.
