If you liked ‘The Infiltrator’, ‘A Ghost in the Battle’, the new film about ETA starring Susana Abaitua, is now on Netflix

Netflix adds and continues in its quest to dominate the streaming market. Because if 2025 started with a bang like ‘Adolescence’ and the final stretch of the year will be marked by the highly anticipated ‘Stranger Things 5’, another notable name emerged yesterday: ‘A ghost in the battle’, the new film about ETA starring Susana Abaitua (‘Patria’, ‘Dismantling Lucía’), which has reaped very positive reviews and it premiered just a few hours ago.

With a total of 11 favorable reviews and a couple mixed ones on FilmAffinity (it has not received a single negative one), ‘A Ghost in Battle’ has a rating of 6.7 out of 10. The plot focuses on Amaia (Susana Abaitua), a civil guard agent who infiltrates ETA for a decade (1958-2018). The film is inspired by real experiences of various police officers involved in the fight against said terrorist organization, specifically in the decades of the 90s and 2000s, during the search for the caches that the gang had hidden in the south of France.

Directed by Agustín Díaz Yanes (‘Alatriste’) and with a duration of 105 minutes, ‘A ghost in the battle’ completes its cast with Andrés Gertrúdix, Iraia Elias, Raúl Arévalo and Ariadna Gil, among others.
