Honda officially launched the new 2026 CR-V in the United States, with emphasis on the unprecedented TrailSport Hybrid version, which combines an adventurous look, hybrid system and off-road capability. Prices start at $30,920 for the front-wheel-drive LX version — not including the $1,395 destination charge.
The new TrailSport Hybrid version costs US$38,800 and is the brand’s first SUV to combine the TrailSport look with off-road tires and the two-motor hybrid system. The set delivers 204 hp of power, 247 lb-ft of torque and promises good performance with fuel economy.

The CR-V TrailSport is prepared to tackle trails: Continental all-terrain tires, exclusive 18-inch wheels in Shark Gray, glossy black details and orange TrailSport emblems reinforce the robust look. The interior features exclusive finishes, amber ambient lighting and the TrailSport name embroidered on the seats and carpets.
Inside, the SUV now offers more standard technology in all versions. The entire line has a new 9-inch multimedia center with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as an induction cell phone charger.
The most complete versions — such as the EX-L, Sport Touring Hybrid and the new TrailSport Hybrid — also gain a new 10.2-inch digital dashboard, with customizable settings to show vehicle data, Honda Sensing® system functions and much more.
The Sport Touring Hybrid now features an “Individual” driving mode, which allows the driver to adjust throttle responses, steering and other parameters for a more personalized experience. All-wheel drive models, such as the TrailSport, received improvements to the low-speed traction system, optimizing off-road performance.
In total, the 2026 line offers four hybrid versions (Sport Hybrid, Sport-L Hybrid, TrailSport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid) and three with turbo engines (LX, EX and EX-L). More than half of CR-V sales in the US are already hybrid versions, which reflects Honda’s electrification strategy.

The CR-V is also a reference in safety. All models leave the factory with the Honda Sensing® package, ACE™ reinforced structure and state-of-the-art airbags. The model remains the best-selling compact SUV in the USA over the last 28 years, with more than 400,000 units sold in 2024 alone.
In terms of appearance, the 2026 line gained 18-inch wheels with a new design and the unprecedented Ash Green Pearl color — exclusive to the TrailSport. Since 2017, the CR-V has been the best-selling Honda in the country, and the TrailSport models already represent 20% of the combined sales of the brand’s larger SUVs. Meanwhile, other automakers are launching their models, such as the New generation of the 2026 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid appears with a bold design.
With the new CR-V 2026, Honda reinforces its commitment to electrification, on-board technology and adventurous spirit, especially with the arrival of the new TrailSport Hybrid version, which combines comfort, style and capacity for those who want to go beyond the asphalt. Models such as the Jeep Avenger, which will be the brand’s fourth national model from 2026, are also seeking innovations to attract the public.
