A cinema-worthy marriage proposal moved millions of people on social media. Marcelo Coelho surprised his girlfriend, Jéssica Uinny, by transforming the couple’s story into a Pixar-style animated trailer, made with the help of artificial intelligence. The video, published by her on Tik Tok, surpassed 4 million views and 1 million likes as of this Monday, the 13th.

The production begins with the traditional introduction of Disney films and takes the audience into an enchanted narrative. In scenes inspired by the life of Jéssica, called “Jay” in the animation, the protagonist lives perfect days on the Amalfi Coast, complete with a marriage proposal on a speedboat, until the voiceover announces: “Like most people, she is a dreamer.” The next moment, the character wakes up in real life and talks about her desire to get married.

While watching, Jéssica recognizes herself in the images and reacts in surprise. “Our life, it looks like me”, he comments. “Is it me?” he asks. Afterwards, the trailer shows the couple at home, watching the trailer film. At this moment, the animation mixes with reality: Marcelo from the trailer appears offering a ring box — and the real Marcelo, sitting next to his girlfriend on the sofa, repeats the gesture.
