Gabby’s Magic House and 3 other films debut in Cotia and the region

The TV hit “Gabby’s Magic House” and “Tron – Ares”, starring Jared Leto, premiere in cinemas in Cotia and the region this Thursday (9). The national “Perrengue Fashion”, with Ingrid Guimarães, and “After the Hunt” by the Italian Luca Guardagnino also arrive in cinemas.

“Fighting Heart”, “Malês”, “Pet Mission”, “Dora and the Enchanted World of Mermaids”, “The Long March – Walk or Die”, “The Trip of a Lifetime”, “Dangerous Animals”, “Downton Abbey 3 – The Grand Finale”, “The Perfect Mother-in-Law 2”, “Dreaming With Lions” and “The Conjuring 4 – The Last Ritual are still showing in the region.

Gabby’s Magic House

“Gabby’s Magical House – The Movie” arrives in theaters. Created by Traci Paige Johnson and Jennifer Twomey, the film is directed by Ryan Crego and features a collaborative script with Melanie Wilson LaBracio and Adam Wilson.

Based on the Netflix series “Gabby’s Magical House”, the production brings animation elements with people, several different cats and expands the adventures of Gabby and her friends into the “real world”.

In the plot of “Gabby’s Magical House – The Movie”, we follow young Gabby on a road trip with her grandmother Gigi until she arrives in the city of Cat Francisco.

Upon arriving in the enchanted metropolis, Gabby realizes that her valuable dollhouse was in the hands of the wrong person: the eccentric cat lady named Vera. On a mission to save her most precious possession, she brings together all the Gabby Cats to help her recover her most precious possession, before her big dream is destroyed.

Starring Laila Lockhart Kraner, the cast of “Gabby’s Magic House” is completed by Gloria Estefan, vKristen Wiig, Tina Ukwu, Carla Tassara. “Gabby’s Magical House – The Movie” is from the studio behind the hits Shrek (2001), Puss in Boots (2011) and Kung Fu Panda (2008).

Tron – Ares

GIn addition to “Gabby’s Magical House – The Movie”, the film “Tron – Ares” hits theaters. The third film in the franchise that began in the 1980s, with “Tron – Legacy” stars Jared Leto and also features Joachim Rønning, with a script written by Jack Thorne and Jesse Wigutow.

In the plot, we are introduced to Paula Pratta, a 40+ fashion influencer, who is trying to establish herself as a reference in the field of content creators in this niche.

When she is invited to star in a Mother’s Day advertising campaign for a major brand, Paula feels like her big opportunity to shine has arrived.

Paula’s plans, however, are not the same as those of her son Cadu, who decides to abandon everything – his business school in the United States – to dedicate himself to environmental activism and live in a sustainable ecovillage in the Amazon Rainforest.

Focused on bringing him back to São Paulo with the help of her assistant, Paula doesn’t think twice and heads to the North of the country. There, she is faced with a reality and a style of outlook that are completely opposite to her own, which forces her to face her own values, her relationship with her son and her priorities.
