Friend gives details of the actress’ last days

Diane Keaton died yesterday, aged 79, in California, United States. According to people close to her, the artist’s health had worsened in recent months.

What happened

Carole, a close friend of the actress, told how her last meeting with Diane was, weeks before her death. “I met her two or three weeks ago and she was very thin. She had lost a lot of weight. (…) I was a little impressed with how much weight she had lost,” she said in an interview with People.

According to friends and sources spoken to by People, the artist’s health deteriorated surprisingly. “It was so unexpected, especially for someone with so much strength and joy.”
