Ford F-150 Raptor may receive factory remap in the USA

Ford announced that the F-150 Raptor, equipped with the EcoBoost 3.5 V6 engine, will be able to receive a new factory calibration developed by Ford Performance Parts. The update — a software remapping approved and officially sold by the brand — will be available to the North American public and promises gains in power and torque without compromising the reliability of the package.

Factory price and warranty

The suggested price is US$850.05, and the package includes a three-year or 58,000 km warranty, as long as installation is carried out at an authorized workshop. Ford emphasizes that the software was dynamometer tested and designed to maintain the vehicle’s durability and emissions parameters.

Preparing for the Baja 1000

The performance upgrade is part of a broader Ford Performance strategy to bring production vehicles closer to the competition environment. The brand confirmed that the F-150 Raptor will participate in the traditional Baja 1000 off-road race in Mexico in November.

The Ford team will also take other Raptor models to the test — including the F-150 Raptor R, Bronco Raptor and Ranger Raptor — reinforcing the “Road to Race” concept, which seeks to validate and improve production components under extreme conditions. The experience gained in the race will serve as a basis for future developments of the line.
