One of the biggest recent cinema successes finally has a date to reach streaming. The film starring Brad Pitt and Damson Idris, directed by Joseph Kosinski and co-produced by Lewis Hamilton, premieres on Apple TV+ on December 12thaccording to information from Variety.

About the film: Set in the world of Formula 1, the plot follows Sonny Hayes, a promising driver from the 1990s whose career was interrupted after a serious accident. Thirty years later, the owner of a team in crisis convinces him to return to the track, where Sonny tries to regain his place and guide his young teammate, Joshua Pearce, to evolve on and off the circuits.

F1 premiered in Brazilian cinemas on June 26, distributed by Warner Bros. Discovery. The film grossed more than R$10 million in just its first weekend in the United States and has already grossed more than US$546 million at the global box office, making it Apple’s biggest success in theaters.
