EVIL DEAD BURN Already Looks Nasty As Hell

Filming has officially wrapped on Evil Dead Burnthe latest standalone entry into the Evil Dead series from Infested director Sébastien Vaniček.

Currently scheduled for release on July 24, 2026 via Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema, Evil Dead Burn stars Souheila Yacoub (Dune: Part Two), Hunter Doohan (Wednesday), Luciane Buchanan (The Night Agent), and Tandi Wright (Pearl).

Plot details for Evil Dead Burnwhich Vaniček co-wrote with Infested scribe Florent Bernard, remain tightly under wraps, but the director has promised a “nasty” slice of Deadite chaos, calling the pic “a film that hurts, from which you come away tested.” Uh oh.

Produced by Sam Raimi and Robert Tapert’s Ghost House Pictures, Evil Dead Burn will be the fifth entry in the Evil Dead franchise following Fedé Alvarez’s 2013 Evil Dead remake and Lee Cronin‘s Evil Dead Rise. Cronin will executive produce, alongside original Evil Dead final boy Bruce Campbell, Romel Adam and Jose Canas.

Announcing the filming wrap on Instagram earlier today (seen below), Vaniček shared a brief snippet from set that involves a helluva lot of blood and some good ol’ fashioned smashing of something – our money’s on a head, or face, or some sort of limb.

Needless to say, hype is high for whatever the Necronomicon holds within its withered pages this time around, and don’t forget aside from Evil Dead Burnwe also have ANOTHER Evil Dead movie in the works from Last Stop in Yuma County‘s Francis Galluppi, which Ghost House are also producing.
