Brazilian comedy about rivalry with Argentina leads Top 10 on Netflix

Brazilian comedy “Family But Not Much” leads the Top 10 most watched films on Netflix in Argentina, Brazil and Portugal this Saturday (19). The production stars Leandro Hassum and plays with the “rivalry” between the two South American countries.

In the plot, a Brazilian father finds a worthy opponent when he meets his daughter’s Argentine in-laws, and a trip to Bariloche becomes the stage for a fun international rivalry.

Part of the cast is made up of Argentine actors such as Simón Hempe, Gabriel Goity e Abrul Di Yorio. On the Brazilian side, in addition to Hassum, names like Julia Svacinna, Karina Ramil e João Barreto star in the production.

In an interview with CNNprotagonist Leandro Hassum stated that he believes in the film’s good reception by Argentines, highlighting the quality of Latin cinema.

“I think they will receive it well, because in At no point did we use Argentina to carry out cultural bullyingon the contrary. I think that they will look at it in a very positive waybecause we hold Bariloche in our arms, we show the beauty of the city, how there are charming places next door for us to go and discover”, he said.
