American Truck Simulator will have Ford Car Pack DLC with Mustang, F-150, Bronco and more

The developer SCS Software officially revealed the Ford Car Packfirst vehicle pack for the new module Road Trip of American Truck Simulator (ATS). The DLC marks the debut of passenger cars in the simulator, until then focused exclusively on transporting cargo with trucks.

Road Trip: a new way to explore the map

O Road Trip is an innovative expansion that offers a new gameplay proposal, allowing players to drive vehicles beyond traditional trucks. The idea is to maintain the spirit of freedom on the road, but with more diversity in the driving experience.

With the arrival of the Ford Car Pack, players will have access to the module Road Tripwhich will be unlocked with the purchase of this or future packs in the same line.

Classic and modern cars in the package

The Ford Car Pack includes some of the North American automaker’s most iconic models, all with detailed recreations for use in the game:

• 1967 Ford Mustang – The iconic pony car that marked generations;
• 2023 Ford F-150 – The best-selling pickup truck in the USA, versatile and robust;
• 2023 Ford Bronco – Modern SUV with a retro look and adventurous spirit;
• 1998–2012 Ford Crown Victoria – The legendary sedan, known as the standard car for police and taxis in the USA.

The developer reported that it is still finalizing technical details for each model, such as engine options e finishesand this information will be shared later.

SCS Software highlighted that collaboration with Ford It is official and involved a direct partnership with the automaker. This allowed the cars to be recreated with high visual and mechanical fidelity.

“We are very grateful to Ford for their trust. The partnership allowed us to represent these iconic vehicles with maximum authenticity”, declared the team in an official statement.

No confirmed date

The Ford Car Pack does not yet have an exact release date, but it will be the first step in a new era for American Truck Simulator, which now offers players the possibility of exploring US roads in passenger cars. Click here to add the DLC to your wishlist.
