DEMON SLAYER: KIMETSU NO YAIBA – CASTELO INFINITO

Synopsis: The film begins the conclusion of the anime, which adapts the first part of the manga’s final arc into a cinematic trilogy. In the plot, Tanjirō faces Akaza, the feared Upper Moon Three. In parallel, the Hashiras, Zenitsu and Inosuke face their own challenges that include several other demons, as well as Nakime, who controls the Infinite Castle, and Muzan Kibtsuji, the main villain of the story.

TOY STORY (1995) – 30 YEARS (RELAUNCH)

Synopsis: Andy’s birthday is coming up and the toys are nervous. After all, they fear that a new toy will replace them. Led by Woody, a cowboy who is also Andy’s favorite toy, they set up a bug that allows them to know about the gifts received. Among them is Buzz Lightyear, a space ranger doll, who soon begins to receive more attention from the boy. This, little by little, makes Woody jealous, who tries to make him fall behind the bed. But the plan goes wrong and Buzz falls out the window. It’s the beginning of Woody’s adventure, who also needs to rescue Buzz to clear his bar with the other toys.

DOWNTON ABBEY – O GRANDE FINAL

Synopsis: This time, the aristocracy and their servants embark on new challenges, romances and social transformations at the entrance of the 1930s. When Lady Mary finds herself at the center of a scandal and the family experiences a time of financial difficulties, all family members face the risk of social shame. The Crawleys, then, must accept change as staff prepare the new generation of Downton heirs. The clash between tradition and modernity comes into focus when Mary takes control of Downton, while going through her divorce and embarking on new relationships.

DREAMING ABOUT LIONS

Synopsis: Gilda is a Brazilian immigrant living in Lisbon, Portugal. Her life is coming to an end due to a cancer diagnosis that gave her just one more year to live. Conformed to her fate, Gilda now cultivates the desire to die with dignity and without pain, still being herself. Thus, she joins a clandestine corporation called “Joy Transition International”, which organizes lectures and classes on euthanasia for terminally ill people in countries where assisted suicide is illegal. This is how Gilda ends up meeting the kind and introverted Amadeu, an employee at a funeral home.

THE PERFECT MOTHER-IN-LAW 2

Synopsis: After gaining her own home with a lot of effort, Neide is determined to maintain her independence. Therefore, when Oliveira, her boyfriend and a Portuguese baker in the neighborhood, asks her to marry him, the fear of giving up her freedom makes her respond with a resounding “no”. What Neide didn’t expect was that Dona Oliveira, her Portuguese mother-in-law, would arrive with a suitcase and take care of a wedding that only existed in her head. With pressure from her mother-in-law to say the long-awaited “yes”, Neide feels that she needs to prove her autonomy at any cost, which ends up triggering a fight with her best friend, Sheila. In the midst of all this, she still needs to prepare for the best hairdresser competition in the neighborhood.

PICASSO: A REBEL IN PARIS

Synopsis: An investigation into the contradictory nature of Picasso’s character, exploring his generosity and despotism, often hidden behind the mask. The documentary reveals little-known aspects of the painter, including his status as a “foreigner” in a Paris full of xenophobia, his role as an anarchist in Montmartre and his “queer” perspective on his own work.

DONA FLOR AND HER TWO HUSBANDS (RELAUNCH)

Synopsis: During the 1943 carnival in Bahia, Vadinho, a womanizer and inveterate gambler, dies suddenly and his wife, Dona Flor, is inconsolable, because despite him having several flaws, he was an excellent lover. But, after some time, she marries Teodoro Madureira, a pharmacist who is the exact opposite of her first husband. She starts to have a stable and peaceful, but tedious life and, after “calling” her first husband so much, one day he appears naked in her bed. A pai de santo sets out to drive away Vadinho’s spirit, but there is a problem: deep down, Flor wants him to stay, as there is a strong desire that needs to be satisfied.

SLEEP WITH EYES OPEN

Synopsis: In a coastal city in Brazil, Kai arrives from Taiwan to spend the holidays with a broken heart. A broken air conditioner causes her to accidentally walk into the store where Fu Ang sells umbrellas. They could become friends, but the rain doesn’t come and he – and his store – disappears from the map. In search of Fu Ang, Kai meets a group of Chinese workers in a luxurious skyscraper and feels mysteriously connected to the story of one of them, Xiaoxin.

Synopsis: Three days in the life of Jeanne Dielma, a lonely widowed housewife, whose tasks include making the beds, preparing dinner for her son and some tricks to survive. Slowly, your ritualized daily routine begins to fall apart.

SUCCUARANA

Guided by a mysterious dog, she finds refuge in a village of workers from an abandoned factory, who live collectively. With each new encounter, your destination always seems a little further away.
