Demon Slayer surpasses Superman and F1 in the global box office ranking

The success of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinite Castle continues to impress. The new film in the Japanese franchise surpassed Superman and F1: The Movie at the global box office, becoming the most profitable comic book adaptation of 2025. The animation left the giants Marvel and DC behind and now occupies 6th place in the world ranking. The competition, however, becomes even fiercer in the Top 5, dominated by billion-dollar productions such as Ne Zha 2 and Lilo & Stitch.

The Ufotable film is already the highest-grossing anime film in history, consolidating the success of the Kimetsu no Yaiba universe. In Brazil, Demon Slayer – Castelo Infinito debuted in first place, grossing R$26 million in its opening weekend alone.
