New Chevrolet Silverado will have Montana headlights and a more efficient V8 engine

New Chevrolet Silverado is spotted again, only this time with much less camouflage. The images reveal that this big thing will join the trend of split headlights, as will other models of the brand such as the Suburban SUVs, Tahoe, the Blazer, and the Montana pickup truck that is sold in Brazil.

The latest sighting of the Chevrolet Silverado was shared by the GM Authority website. As you can see, despite the camouflage, the photos are much more revealing than the first sighting of the pickup truck when it was still running with very heavy camouflage. Since the 2021 restyling, the Silverado has not received significant updates.

Chevrolet has been adopting taller, split headlights for some time now. Which made the element even predictable for the new pickup. The photo also captured the interior of the new Silverado 2027, revealing a large instrument panel integrated with the multimedia center, the same model used in the Blazer.

New engine

One of the main new features of the new Chevrolet Silverado is the V8 gasoline engine from the Small Block family. Chevrolet talks about a 10% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions compared to current models. General Motors (GM) is investing US$579 million in manufacturing engines with optimized efficiency and performance at its Flint, Michigan (USA) plant.

The good news for us is that this engine will also power the most popular version of the Silverado 1500, which is also sold in Brazil. Furthermore, the new pickup will exchange the T1-1 platform for the T1-2, which brings some technical and dynamic improvements.

When the new 2027 Chevrolet Silverado arrives

The launch of the Chevrolet Silverado 2027 should take place at the end of next year in the USA. In other words, before the debut of the new generation of Ford F-150, which has been the absolute leader in sales in the country for many years. In Brazil, the new Silverado will arrive a little later, we just don’t know how much.
