After Ford showed the new F-Series Super Duty line, now it is General Motors’ turn to present at a rural fair in the state of Texas, USA, the 2015 line of Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickup trucks in HD versions. Differentiating the look with exclusive touches and increased load and towing capacities, the big cars will be offered in the 2500 and 3500 bodies from the beginning of next year, already as a 2015 model, but no prices have yet been announced.

Under the hood, the 6.0 V8 gasoline engine is common to both models, with a power of 322 hp and 52.5 kgfm of torque in the HD 2500 and 360 hp versions and the same 52.5 kgfm of force in the HD 3500 bodies. Optionally, a bi-fuel variant (gasoline and CNG) is offered, in addition to a powerful 6.6 V8 Duramax diesel of 397 hp and brutal 105.7 kgfm of torque.

Payload capacity is 1,953 kilograms for the 2500 HD models and 3,508 kilograms for the 3500 HD, while maximum trailer drag is 6,577 kilograms and 8,890 kilograms, respectively.

Even with a willingness to do heavy work, the models do not leave out items such as daytime LED headlights, chrome front grille, body-colored bumpers and chrome exhaust tip. In the cabin, equipment such as leather-covered seats, Bose sound system, entertainment system with 8″ screen, among others, stands out.
