After the launch of the new HR-V, which arrives in Brazil next month, all that was left for Honda was to renew the CR-V, another model that needed a more in-depth update.

Well, the sixth generation of the new C-segment SUV
(compact) was presented in the United States. There, it is the brand’s best-selling model, and in emerging markets such as Argentina, the model also took the lead.

To remain firm and strong, the Honda
is already preparing its asset and has completely redesigned the car, giving it a more sporty and refined look and, with this, promises to attract an even younger audience to its customer list.

Starting with the dimensions, the new CR-V
it grew by 40 mm between axles (2,709 mm), 68 mm in length (4,690 mm in total) and 10 mm in width, but without touching the height, but enough to increase the internal space by 15 mm for the legs and trunk volume to 1,027 liters up to the roof.

In terms of mechanics, the model will debut with the renowned engine 1.5 turbo
gasoline, with 190 hp and 24.47 kgfm of torque connected to the well-known CVT transmission. Another version that will be available is a hybrid that combines a 2.0 liters
and two electric vehicles that deliver a combined power of 207 hp and a combined torque of 34.1 kgfm.

Another novelty of the new generation of CR-V
is not system 4×4 all-wheel drive (4WD)
which is now available with different modes of use and hill descent control is included for the first time.

Inside, the model has a 7 or 9-inch floating screen in the center and another 7-inch screen on the instrument panel, as well as an analogue speedometer and also has a competent Honda Sensing system
which unifies elements such as blind spot warning, traffic sign reader, adaptive cruise control
lane keeping assistant, among other features.

Complementing security, in accordance with Honda
the structural part has been reinforced and is up to 15% more rigid and, in addition, the ‘package’ is completed with new airbags
with a new shape for the inflatable bags, which according to the brand minimizes diagonal impacts.

In Brazil, the new generation of Honda CR-V
it will arrive in 2023 and in the hybrid version. As the car will be larger, a seven-seater version is also expected for the national market. And in European and North American markets, some rumors indicate that a completely electric version will arrive in 2024.
