Toy Story 5 releases its first teaser

Without prior notice, Pixar has released the first trailer for Toy Story 5; a video of less than a minute that makes it clear what the plot is going to be, with just a couple of strokes.

In the trailer we see Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, Mr. Potato, Mrs. Potato, Rex and the Martians with terrified faces: a mysterious package has arrived at home.

The shipment is for Bonnie, the little one of the house. A new toy? A doll? None of that: it’s the brand new LilyPad tablet, which the girl is delighted to receive.

“I’m Lilypad, let’s play!”says the device’s sing-song voice. In the original version it belongs to actress Greta Leerecently in theaters with Tron: Ares.

And as the argument explains, “Lilypad will make the lives of Buzz and Woody’s gang become more and more complicatedhaving to compete with a new form of entertainment.”
