Woody and Buzz are ready to return. Disney and Pixar have unveiled the first teaser trailer for Toy Story 5the new chapter of the beloved animated saga which will arrive in theaters on June 19, 2026. Exactly thirty years after the first film, which revolutionized animated cinema forever in 1995, the two iconic toys face a completely new challenge: that of the digital world.

In the trailer, presented together with a colorful official posterwe see the return of the historical protagonists grappling with Lilypadan electronic frog with artificial intelligence that represents the new generation of toys. Described as a “frog-shaped smart tablet”, Lilypad wreaks havoc in the bedroom and challenges the whole point of traditional gaming. It is the one who lends her voice Greta Leewhich according to the directors “manages to make the character both comical and menacingly realistic.”
