All about Frankenstein

Described by Del Toro as his dream project, Frankenstein adapts Mary Shelley’s classic story about the creation of a monster from parts of several corpses.

Known for his empathy for creatures and great horror films, Del Toro has worked with Netflix on stop-motion animation Pinocchiowhich won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature. After Frankensteinit will adapt The Buried Giant by Kazuo Ishiguro, also in stop-motion, with Netflix.

The film of Frankenstein by Guillermo Del Toro, winner of the Oscar for The Shape of Water, traced by Oscar Isaac (there) as Doctor Frankenstein and Jacob Elordi (Euphoria, Saltburn) as your Monster. Mia Goth (Pearl, MaXXXine) is in the film, and it is speculated that she will become the Bride of Frankenstein.

Charles Dance, Lars Mikkelsen, David Bradley, Christian Convery, Christoph Waltz complete the cast. Elordi replaced Andrew Garfield in the role of Frankenstein’s monster, as Garfield had to leave the project due to scheduling conflicts.

In addition to arriving on Netflix on November 7th, the film had a quick showing in US theaters on October 17th to qualify it for the Oscar. In Brazil, it debuted in theaters on October 23.
