Juliette Binoche, Anne Dorval and a host of stars at the opening of CINEMANIA

The movie We will be happypresented at the opening of the Festival CINEMANIAbrings together a leading cast: Mehdi Meskar (A bear in the Jura, The Monster), Alexandre Landry (Gabrielle, The fall of the American empire), Aron Archer et Celine Bonnierwhich finds here Léa Poolafter their noted collaboration on Augustine’s passion.

With more than fifteen feature films to his credit, Léa Pool has long established himself as an essential figure in Quebec cinema. After Take me away, Hotel Silence et Augustine’s passionthe filmmaker signs here a work that is both intimate and committed, marked by her first collaboration with Michel Marc Bouchardplaywright whose plays have often inspired the big screen (Tom on the farm, The great heat).

The director will also be honored with the Iris Hommage prize at the next Quebec Cinema Galaon December 7, to highlight nearly 45 years of career dedicated to the seventh art.
