An image published on social media sparked the enthusiasm of the boy wizard’s fans and in particular the family of his best friend Ron.

Oliver Phelpsfamous throughout the world for playing George Weasley in the Harry Potter film saga, published an image on social media on Sunday that drove fans crazy.

The actor was the protagonist, together with his brother Oliver and Bonnie Wright, of one dinner in Baltimore and the photo taken and published on social media brought fans back to Hogwarts for a moment.

The Weasley brothers’ reunion dinner

The dinner turned into a real one full-blown reunion of the Weasley brothers: in the films, James and Oliver Phelps played the twins Fred and George Weasley while Bonnie Wright was Ginny Weasley.

“Family Dinner in Baltimore” Oliver wrote in the caption of the post. In the comments, Bonnie Wright responded with three orange hearts to underline the bond between the actors of the film saga.

The cast’s connection to the Harry Potter franchise

The Weasleys’ small reunion was naturally missing their parents, Arthur (Mark Williams) and Molly (Julie Walters), as well as their brothers Charlie (Alex Crockford), Bill (Domhnall Gleeson), Ron (Rupert Grint) and Percy (Chris Rankin).

James and Oliver Phelps and Bonnie Wright have maintained a close bond with the show: the Phelps twins host a culinary series called Harry Potter: Wizards of Bakingwhich will return soon for a second season. Bonnie Wright also participated in the show as a guest judge in the first season.

In the serie tv HBO The Weasleys will be played by Gracie Cochrane (Ginny), Tristan and Gabriel Harland (Fred and George), Ruari Spooner (Percy), Alastair Stout (Ron) and Katherine Parkinson (Molly). At the moment, the roles of Bill and Arthur have not yet been assigned and also that of Charlie, who will have a larger role than in the films. The Harry Potter TV series will debut on screens no earlier than 2027.
