Netflix: what “27 Nights” is about
Based on the book of the same name of Natalia Zitothe story continues Martha Hoffman (Marini), an eccentric and wealthy patron of 83 yearsadmitted to a psychiatric clinic at the request of his daughters, who claim that he suffers dementia. The real story behind the film
The film, produced by Santiago Miter and Agustina Llambi Campbellis inspired by a real case that had great media impact in 2005. Natalia Cohenwriter, literature teacher, plastic artist and patron, was hospitalized by her daughters for 27 nightsafter considering that she wasted her husband’s moneya pharmaceutical businessman.
Although Kohen lived until the 103 yearshis case was seen as a example of family manipulationsupported even by the diagnosis of a neurologist.
