Film will have an “exclusive for bald people” session; understand

O Culver Theater will hold a special session Bugonia on October 20th, where anyone who wants to attend the session will need to have their head shaved. If the person is not bald, the cinema will have a barber on site to shave their head so they can watch the film.

People who want to take part in the fun and shave their heads at the cinema can arrive at the location from 6pm and the barber will be waiting to shave the heads of anyone who wants to take part in the activation. Unfortunately, there is still no forecast of any type of activation in this regard in Brazil.

All about Bugonia

Bugonia will tell the story of two young people obsessed with conspiracies who kidnap the CEO of a large company, convinced that she is an alien planning the destruction of the planet. The project is inspired by a South Korean sci-fi comedy, Save the Green Planet (in free translation, Save the Green Planet), authored by Jan Joon-Hwan and launched in 2003.

The film’s cast is headed by Emma Stonewho repeats with the director the partnership that won her the Oscar for Best Actress in 2024, for poor Creatures. Together, Yorgos Lanthimos and Stone also made To Favorite, Types of Kindness and are already preparing another project after Bugonia.

In addition to Emma, ​​another acquaintance of Lanthimos who resumes his partnership with the Greek filmmaker here is Jesse Plemonswith whom the director has collaborated on other occasions, including in Types of Kindnesswhere he won the Best Actor award at the Cannes Film Festival. Completing the troupe are Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias e Alicia Silverstone.

The film will hit theaters in the United States at the end of October, but was recently postponed in Brazil until November 27th.
