The most watched film in Netflix history will be shown in Brazilian cinemas

Most watched film in Netflix history, with more than 325 million views around the world since June, K-Pop Warriors will arrive in selected cinemas in Brazil on Halloween weekend. The special sessions will take place between October 31st and November 2nd.

The version that will be presented on the big screen is Guerreiras do K-Pop: Para Cantar Junto, a special session in a format that allows spectators to participate during the songs. This will be the first time that the feature version will be distributed globally.

The animation will be distributed in Brazil by O2 Play Filmes, with dubbed and subtitled options. The Cinemark chain confirmed its participation in the action, publicizing the event on its official profile. Ticket sales have not yet started.

In addition to Brazil, the Netflix film will be shown to the public in countries such as the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Korea, Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Australia and New Zealand.

K-Pop Warriors is a global audience phenomenon

The film, which follows the female trio of demon hunters HUNTR/X using music to protect the world, has dominated Netflix’s film rankings for the last 17 weeks. The production was highly praised, earning a score of 95% from critics and 99% audience approval on Rotten Tomatoes.

The film’s success was not restricted to the platform, as the soundtrack also reached millions of streams, with the song Golden being the most played. The cast’s original voice actors even performed live on the Jimmy Fallon show. In a previous limited showing in foreign cinemas, the film generated US$18 million in revenue.
